An issue of Us Weekly came out recently, reporting that this round of “Beyonce pregnant” rumors is no rumor. According to ABC, the magazine was quoting from an anonymous source that is supposedly close to the most powerful couple in entertainment.
Another anonymous source — reportedly close to Beyonce — basically said the same thing. There has been no confirmation that she is. Granted, at one point there was no confirmation that Barack Obama was running for president, but the anonymous source indicates that Beyonce said she is pregnant. The pregnancy, according to the anonymous report, came as a surprise to Beyonce and Jay-Z.
Privacy at a paramount
Despite being among the most successful pop singers of this generation, Beyonce and Jay-Z are both known for going to extremes to guard their privacy. Prior to the announcement that they had been married, it was barely known to anyone that the two were even dating, which was kept under wraps for six years, according to The Telegraph.
Celebrity rumors are big business, and the American public has a large appetite for gossip. Rumors of Beyonce being pregnant had been addressed earlier this year, as she stated it would happen when it happened. If Beyonce is pregnant, it will not change the fact that rent is too damn high.
