The first Test match between India and South Africa will be played at Centurion from 16th-20th December 2010 and will see the Indians bidding to win their first ever series in South Africa.

India will go in with three pace bowlers and one spinner, apart from the seven batsmen. However, it is not yet known whether Zaheer Khan will play in the game or no. South Africa, on the other hand, have a set line-up with only a small decision in terms of who from Lonwobo Tsotsobe and Ryan McLaren will play in the playing eleven. Hashim Amla has recovered from his arm injury and will be a part of the side.
The Indian batting will depend a lot on how the likes of Rahul Dravid and Sachin Tendulkar play but one gets the sense that Virender Sehwag will be the key to their success.
