On 26th January 1950, the constitution of India came into existence replacing the Govt of India Act 1935. 26th January is that day on which we listen the sound of shoes of our brave soldiers marching with the beats. It is the day on which it seems painted with colors of our National Flag when we look at the sky and see our fighter airplanes showing their reach.

It is all going to happen again today’s morning on January 26, 2011. The Grand Parade will rock the nation at Rajpath in New Delhi today.

Before the starting of Parade, Prime Minister lays a floral wreath at the “Amar Jawan Jyoti”, a memorial to our soldiers. It is followed by 2-minutes silence remembering those soldiers. Parade starts when President of India arrives at Rajpath with Chief Guest and blows the Indian Flag in air. Then the National Anthem starts with 21-gun salutes given.

At the respected parade, we see the actual India nation. All Indian heritages, the different colors of Indian states of so many languages share the great stage showing their cultures, festivals. India shows its strength in Parade. Our missiles, nuclear weapons gets unveiled on this special occasion. The Indian regiments of forces of the Army, the Navy and the Air Force march past the Rajghat. All these superb things and many more others happen in a beautiful decorative style. Moreover, so many civilian honors will be awarded to great personalities.

The Grand Parade of Republic Day 2011 will be having live telecast on Doordarshan by 8 am today.
