Tagore
Tagore is a Telugu language Tollywood film which was a remake of the Kollywood film Ramana. The film was released on 24 September 2003 and was directed by V.V. Vinayak. Chiranjeevi played the role of the protagonist and Shriya Saran, Jyothika Saravanan, and Prakash Raj played some other roles as well. The soundtrack was scored by music director Mani Sharma. Some scenes in this film, were not shot originally, but instead, used the previously shot scenes from the Tamil original. For example, in one of the opening scenes, policemen stop all vehicles on the road, and do thorough checking. The scene was not shot, but instead, re-used from Ramana.
