HUDA -Haryana Urban Development Authority was formed under the Haryana Urban Development Authority Act 1977 with an aim to carry out planned and coordinated development of the urban areas and districts in Haryana. HUDA- Haryana Urban Development Authority has been instrumental in carrying out expedited development of urban areas by securing land and carrying out its disposition in the most viable manner. For administrative convenience and expediency, HUDA zones include HUDA Panchkula, HUDA-Hisar, HUDA-Faridabad, HUDA-Gurgaon, HUDA-Rohtak and HUDA-Karnal Rewari. HUDA- Haryana Urban Development Authority has not limited its scope of activities just to land acquisition but has judiciously allotted land resources to cater to the Haryana Housing needs of the Lower-Income Group as well as the Middle-Income Group. Haryana Urban Development Authority also undertakes Building Homes and then allots it to different applicants.
