Speaking of Raavanan and its premiere at the Cannes, we also got news that Raavanan would be going to Venice. And the good news doesn't end there. Sources say that Mani Rathnam would be honored with the Jaeger-LeCoultre Glory to the Filmmaker Award at the Venice Film Festival. This was announced by director Marco Muller at the Cannes Festival. Muller is reported to have heaped praises on his Indian counterpart saying that he introduced the auteur concept to Bollywood.
