Filmmaker Shankar is literally reported to be disappointed with the terrific flop of his recent release ‘Rettai Suzhi’. The film marked the debut directorial of Thamira and was produced by Shankar under the banner of S Pictures.
The film had the most happening filmmakers of Tamil film industry – K. Balachandar and Bharathiraja in lead roles. Buzzes rounding upon air are that both Balachandar and K. Bharathiraja demanded Rs. 1Crores as their remuneration.
Unable to manage the situation, the filmmaker somehow accepted to pay them as Sun Pictures had assured about acquiring this film and release under its banner.
Off the late, Sun Pictures walked out of the project as the team members felt it has no reasons to do well at box office. Now, we hear that Shankar has now decided to put a break to his production ventures and will focus only into direction
