Story:
A stale tale, the story is set on the backdrop of the Melpavur village in Madurai. Here lives Ishvar (ishvar) who is a noted person and he is eagerly awaiting the release of his father who is in prison. His father is a noted name in the village as well. In the meantime, a law student Archana (dhyana) comes to the village and in no time, there are sparks flying and both of them fall in love. The story takes a turn when Ishvar's friend elopes with his lover but soon, he gets killed due to a property dispute. Ishvar is enraged and he ends up killing the killers of his friend. However, a shock awaits him when he returns from the village. What happens after that forms the rest of the story.

Presentation:
The director has come up with an interesting thought but he failed in the presentation and narrative departments. The dialogues were so-so, the script was spineless, the screenplay was mediocre. Background score was just okay and the songs were good. Cinematography was capturing, editing was weak, costumes were apt and the art department was effective. Ishvar fits the role given his looks and he has done justice to it. Dhyana looks a bit sensuous but she has to work on her expressions, Nasser was natural, Bala Singh was okay, Singam Puli managed few smiles, Gopika Rajesh was good.

Conclusion:
The film could have been a lot better if the makers had focused on the script and made it engaging. While the first half is all about the petty fights, mushy romance and few stale comedy sequences, the second half gets serious with some violence and also some sentimental overdose. This is more of a mix between the mainstream cinema and commercial cinema, that's where things went wrong.
