Mumbai: a 28-year-old model in mumbai rinky chowdhary was found hanging from the fan at her oshiwara flat on thursday night.

The police came to know about the incident after her neighbours got distrustful when she did not open the door for a long time.

When the police reached her flat, they found her hanging from the ceiling fan. She was rushed to the cooper hospital, but was announced dead on admittance.

Officials from goregaon police station said that chowdhary resided alone in her flat at vallabh society near oshiwara depot. She have been doing a couple of roles in a lot of television soaps and was attempting hard for a bollywood break.

When asked if any suicide note was found at the spot, the police were non-committal and said they were busy with the hospital formalities. They said the panchnama was still going on at her residence.

The police have registered a case of suicide.
