SHASHI KAPOOR DEATH NEWS WAS FAKE | SHAMMI DISCHARGED, SHASHI STILL IN HOSPITAL

Shashi Kapoor declared dead by mistake

Veteran actor Shashi Kapoor was mistakenly declared dead by a prominent online newspaper. The newspapers later on apologized for publishing such a tragic news that was based on hearsay and changed the headline to the actor being hospitalized with serious condition. Twitter was agog with jibes like

“No one killed Jessica but DNA killed Shashi Kapoor”

Belonging to the powerful Kapoor clan including giants like Prithviraj Kapoor, Raj Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor Shashi Kapoor has had a decent run on the silver screen with his share of failures and successes. Although he could never be as successful as his elder brothers Raj and Shammi he continuously strengthened his foothold as a debonair actor with films like Jab Jab Phool Khile, Waqt, Kanyadan, Fakira and Haseena Maan Jayegi. Later on he partnered with Amitabh Bachchan in mega-blockbusters like Kaala Patthar, Shaan, Suhaag, Kabhi Kabhi, Namak Halaal and Trishul. His most successful film with Amitabh Bachchan is of course Deewaar.
