The actor may have cut down her work drastically, but Shilpa Shetty makes it amply clear that she’s not done with Bollywood yet.

“I started off in Bollywood when I was only 17 years old. I have been on top for so many years, and people still love me. I don’t think I need to prove anything to anybody now. I have been there and done that,” she says.

She admits that it upsets her to hear rumours of her quitting Bollywood. “Who’s saying all this? I don’t remember telling anybody that I am leaving Bollywood for good. But yes, I don’t need to do the same thing over and over again. You need to evolve and do bigger things like say a fitness DVD (the first actor to do so). I have become finicky as an actor.
I won’t take up anything and everything that come my way, but that does not imply that I’m moving away from films. Yes, my priorities have changed, but the hunger for creativity is still there,” says Shilpa.
