Shweta Tiwari (born October 4, 1980 in Pratapgarh, Uttar Pradesh, India) is an Indian film and television actress. She gained popularity for her role of Prerna in Balaji Telefilms’s television serial Kasautii Zindagii Kay that used to be aired on an Indian television channel STAR Plus. She participated in Bigg Boss-4 and won it by defeating many famous personalities eg. The Great Khali, Ashmit Patel,Dolly Bindra etc.
Personal life
Shweta Tiwari is the daughter of Nirmala and Ashok Tiwari. She was brought up in Mumbai and completed her education from the St. Isabel Girls School in Mumbai. She did her graduation from Burhanis College Mazegaon. She has a younger brother, Nidhaan.
In 1998, at the age of 18, Shweta married actor Raja Choudhary. They divorced nine years later. The couple have a daughter named Palak. She is currently dating Abhinav Kohli and intends to marry him when she is back from Bigg Boss. On October 16, 2010, her house was raided by Raja Chaudhary, while she was away shooting for Bigg Boss
