Gigabyte Technology has slid the covers off their new GA-D510UD motherboard built with the 45nm Intel Atom Dual Core D510 processor that lends support to the two-chip layout. The device features the company’s Ultra Durable 3 design, DualBIOS and EuP that combine to lower system temperature and deliver a powerful yet energy-efficient multimedia platform.

The integrated Intel processor which uses 45nm high-k metal gate technology allows for graphics to be incorporated directly into the CPU. The motherboard houses an Intel NM10 Express Chipset that offers upgradeability with two slots of single channel DDR2 memory at 800/667MHz accommodating up to 4GB of memory.

The dual DIMM DDR2 800 memory renders faster data transfer speeds and higher data bandwidth, while the Gigabit LAN connectivity proffers a high speed LAN connection with data transfer rate of around 1000MB/s. Gigabyte’s latest product offering implements the SATA 3.0GB/s interface along with Native Command Queuing and Hot Plug support.

Gigabyte’s Ultra Durable 3 design’s 2oz copper layer is touted to extend enhanced signal quality and lower EMI for improved system stability and overclocking. DualBIOS possesses two onboard physical BIOS ROMs that enable seamless recovery from BIOS damage or failure. Other mentioned properties of this mainboard include Intel HD Audio and ErP lot 6 support.

The Gigabyte GA-D510UD is sold with a Rs.5,500 price tag attached to it.
