Va – quarter cutting which said to be a little budget movie is hitting the screens for deepavali. Albeit it’s a little movie but the cast and crew has good expectations on this film
According to the sources the story of the film is sketched like this, sundararajan (shiva) who is a nifty fan of vijay named as sura is a guy who hails from coimbatore comes to chennai while moving to dubai for his occupation. He was told by his friends that liquor wouldn’t be available in middle east country so he wants to have a sip before boarding the flight. Incidentally he meets lekha washington and s p b charan there.
And the rest of the story is what happens in a single night. The film stars shiva, spb charan and lekha washington in the lead roles, with kalyan, john vijay, and abhinayashree essaying supporting roles. The film is produced by sashikanth sivaji of y not studios.
“va quarter cutting” follows the events occurring in sura (shiva)’s life amidst 6. 30pm and 6. 30am. He has to spend a night with his future brother-in-law, played by spb charan albeit both of them aren’t in good terms. Featuring chennai’s nightlife as the backdrop with varied textures from late night food joints, red light districts, law enforcement and other illegal actions, this laughter-invigorating flick.
My view: the movie is worth observing.
