We are speaking about the heroine role in the Malayalam film Bodyguard. Asin is reported to have said that the director Siddique had Asin in mind while creating the character. But Asin refused the offer due to lack of dates and that is how Nayanthara was roped in, she says. She adds that she had promised Sid at that time that she would take on the role if he remakes the film in Hindi. And so, she says, she is now playing the leading lady opposite Vijay in Kaavalkaaran, the Tamil remake of Bodyguard.
