Certainly he is still the heart throb of today's film-going public. In addition to being one of the most gifted pan-Indian actors of his generation, Maddy is cool, composed and of course, versatile. It is ten odd years since the actor made Kollywood sit up and take notice of his daringly original performances in films like Alai Paayuthe, Kannathil Muthamittal, Aayutha Ezhuthu, Rang De Basanti, Guru, 3 Idiots, Thambi and Evano Oruvan. His wonderful smile, his exotic, twinkling eyes that always have a tinge of impishness in them, his fine hair that falls on his forehead and his boyish looks... every detail of his is perfectly attractive.
From the day he entered films till date, Madhavan has carefully made his way in the world of glitz through worthy films and well-known banners; he has made a mark in the minds of his audience and has put up with the demanding ways of stardom too, meeting and mixing with his myraid fans.
A recipient of Filmfare awards and a fund of wisdom and perseverance, he is certainly the thriving role model for budding heroes with his inspiring heroism. He is probably one of the few heroes who were married even before they stepped into films. His wife Saritha, his son Vedanth and parents make up his affectionate family.
Recently, Maddy ventured into production through his home banner Leukos Films. Distribution of his film Evano Orovan was the first offering from the production house. The ambitious producer is certainly looking forward to offer support to good and worthy projects. After the success of 3 Idiots, Madhavan has got an opportunity to work with Kamal Haasan for the second time in his career (the first time was for Anbe Sivam), for a film tentatively titled Manmadhan Ambu.
So what is next on his acting agenda? Pretty soon, charming Maddy will be seen in Tanu Weds Manu, 1-800-Love, Sunglass, Freedom in Hindi and Manmadhan Ambu in Tamil.
With that happy note, we at Galatta.com, along with the numerous Maddy fans present across the world, take this opportunity to wish him a very happy birthday! May his life be filled with happiness and success!
