Windows 7: shortcuts (Jump List)
Among the practical functions of Windows 7, this is the list of recent items displayed in the shortcut on the taskbar, Jump List)
It is quick access to frequently used files or documents that are opened recently
associated with a particular program or application.You can access this list by right-clicking on a shortcut on the taskbar.
By default, the Windows 7 list displays 10 most frequently consulted elements.
You can easily increase or decrease the number of items by following the steps
described below:
Make a right click on the button start, and then properties
Click the Customize button
In the start menu size section, the default value is 10
Change the value for the number of recent items to display in the lists of shortcuts, for example select 15 instead of 10, and click the OK button
Click the OK button again
When you click with the right button on a shortcut on the taskbar, you’ll see 15 items displayed
