 Indian cricket captain MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Virender Sehwag have been nominated for the prestigious ICC Awards 2009.
MS Dhoni, Yuvraj Singh and Sehwag are nominated in the ODI player category while Gautam Gambhir, Harbhajan Singh and VVS Laxman have got nomination for the Test player of the year award. Indian pacer Zaheer Khan has been nominated for best Twenty20 international performance of the year award.
Leg spinner Amit Mishra nominated for emerging player of the year award. Indian skipper Dhoni has been nominated for all three categories—Best cricketer, Best Test batsman and Best ODI player of the year award.
