Poorna who made her debut in Kandakottai which had Nakulan in the lead role is now acting in Kumbamela, Droghi, Arjunan Kadhali, Vithagan and Vellore Mavattam.
While she was on the sets of Droghi, she spoke about her films. She said,” Kumbamela is a family story. Prabhu sir, K R Vijaya aunty, Suresh sir and Yuvarani madam are all starring in this film. The shooting of this film is taking place in Kumbakonam.
It is very hot there,.My face became black, Seeing this, Vijaya aunty and Prabhu sir gave me a lot of beauty tips. They also taught me a lot about acting. In the same way Suresh who is donning the role of my father and Yuvarani who is donning the role of my mother also gave me a lot of beauty tips.
It is a great boon for me to act with such senior stars. Prakash sir, who is a script writer in Telugu, is directing this film. In Droghi, I am donning the role of a rowdy girl from the slum called Malar. Arjunan Kadhali is a romantic film like Roja. I am pairing with Jai. Srikanth Deva is composing the music.
All the songs have come out well. I am pairing with Nandha in the film Vellore Mavattam. I am donning the role of a software engineer. Only two more songs are remaining to be shot in the film Vithagan which has Parthiban in the lead role.”
