Raj Kundra is a London-based businessman of Indian descent. In 2004, he was ranked as Britain’s 198th richest man, and in November 2009 married actress Shilpa Shetty.He currently serves as the CEO and/or Director of London-based UK Tradecorp Ltd. His first venture in Bollywood would was under the aegis of Velocity Entertainments. He, along with Shilpa Shetty, is a co-owner of the franchise cricket team Rajasthan Royals of the Indian Premier League.
A self-made millionaire, Kundra left his studies very early and at 21 years of age[citation needed], started a fashion company named RK Collections Ltd, which imported luxury clothing to fashion houses in London, including Christian Dior, Joseph & Escada.
UK Tradecorp Ltd[citation needed] is a thriving multi-million-pounds export company based in London. It deals mainly with electrical goods, and has made inroads into worldwide market.
Personal life
Kundra and Shetty knew each other for a considerable period of time prior to getting married. They have become business partners subsequent to purchasing shares in the Indian Premier League cricket team, the Rajasthan Royals. Kundra divorced his then-wife Kavita, as their relation had been declining for a considerable period of time
