Mumbai,Sachin Tendulkar was adjudged best male cricketer at the Sahara India Sports Awards 2010 function here on Saturday.

Tendulkar scored 1,064 runs in 10 Tests with six centuries and three fifties and 914 runs in 17 One-day Internationals with three centuries, including a world record score of an unbeaten 200 against South Africa at Gwalior.
Mithali Raj was declared best female cricketer of the year.
Olympians S.H.H. Hamid (football) and Manohar Topno (hockey) were honoured in the ‘unsung heroes’ category and presented a cheque for Rs. 5 lakh each.
