Starring Dhanush and Hansika Motwani, Maappillai is the remake of Rajini's Mappillai and we all know that by now. The film's shooting is 70 percent complete and will soon start with the post production, say sources. The film is slated to be a comic caper and necessary changes have been made to the script, says the director. In fact, Vivek has an important role in the film which is not there in the original version. The film has been taken over by Sun Pictures and is expected to be a success.
